Taenaris Urania Lower Wing Butterfly Earrings

Handmade in Washington state, real butterfly wings are preserved and encased in resin using a proprietary process. These wings are sourced from butterfly farms - supporting small indigenous communities that sustain themselves by butterfly farming, that in turn helps to conserve vulnerable jungles and forests.

It's hard to appreciate the full beauty of butterfly wing earrings without seeing them in person, as some contain a brilliantly colorful range of iridescence which can't be conveyed through photos.  Wings with less iridescence are beautiful in their own right, expressing nature through bright colors and intricate shapes.

Sterling silver hooks.  Size will vary, but each wing of this species usually measures approximately 1.75" length x 1" width, making each earring about a 2.25" total drop length.
